Their home is in a beautiful, serene setting and we had a great time in the pool and relaxing on the gorgeous terrace. The home is near the very special town Ponte de Lima. "Wonderful place in the middle of paradise.. Great view, peace and quite (as much as you can get with 4 kids) The place is as described, has 3 bedrooms.. If traveling with small kids you need to be aware of the stairs.. As it is a house in the hills there is quite a few ups and downs, further the kids room is further away from the adults. Our kids are big enough (> 5 y) so we managed with no issues and they had the best time, the challenge was to get them out of the house to visit Ponte de Lima which is defiantly worth the visit.. Jose was a great host being available and welcoming us with some nice local products. We recommend the stay to any future guest! Cheers." Renata in AirBnB

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa da Eira. The house is big and very cosy, the pool is great and the views and surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. José and his family greeted us with wine, bread and local sausage and were very accessible and helpful all along our stay. We really enjoyed the small and charming town Ponte de Lima about 10 km away; with it's restaurants, barbershops, bakeries etc. in the narrow streets it's just perfect for a stroll. We would also like to recommend the National Parque Peneda-Geres about 40 min away; great views and good hiking trails. We would recommend Casa da Eira anytime!" Tina in AirBnB

"Jose and his family greeted us at their house with fresh local bread, chorizo, and a bottle of wine. They showed us around the house and made us feel right at home. The pictures of the house don't quite capture it's serene beauty. Its situated on top of mountain overlooking a valley with smaller towns below. The pool was a wonderful refuge from the hot portuguese sun and we enjoyed all of our dinners on the terrace watching the sun set behind the mountains.
